3 Competition Entries for Brazil
Camara Municipal Competition Entry, Brasilia
In 1990 a competition was announced for the new Town Hall on the Eixo Monumental in Brasilia. I thought that this would be a good opportunity to restore the utopian modernism of the original city, at that time under attack from developers and saved only by listing as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Alas, a post-modern entry was selected.

Brazilian Pavilion Competition Entry
A competition entry for the Brazilian Pavilion at the Seville Expo 1992. This recalled the modernism of Brazilian architecture before it fell into the morass of post-modernism. Alas the competition was cancelled.
