The beach at Dungeness has an extraordinary quality of placelessness due to the expanse of almost completely flat shingle. From standing height the sea is often invisible, merging with the shingle at the limits of vision.
Such a site seems to require the creation of a series of specific places. I proposed three rooms in a cluster. Large windows would frame the views but the shifting light woud would be captured by skylights.
