The north Norfolk Coast is a place of violence, where waves and wind batter the land, and the cliffs require assistance from groynes and fences to remain in place.
I thought of a tower like the Tower House in a Forest, but in wood. ThE wooden construction would make the house like an old boat or the Fishermen's huts in Hastings, a form of construction that used to be common on the coast.
I like to think that the house would move in the wind, and become almost alive.
