FESI: The UK Forum for Engineering Structural Integrity

Thomas Deckker was commissioned to write 2 articles about engineering management in architecture by FESI: The UK Forum for Engineering Structural Integrity.

FESI Bulletin Vol. 5 No. 1.

In the first article Thomas Deckker looked at two contrasting cases of large public buildings - the Channel Rail Terminal by Grimshaw and Partners with Anthony Hunt Associates, Engineers (1993) and the Clissold Leisure Centre by Hodder and Associates with Whitby & Bird, Engineers (2004), which had radically different design and construction trajectories.

In the second article Thomas Deckker discussed how collaboration between architects and engineers could benefit the building industry.
